Professional photography, listing on retyche.com, and promotion to our 34,000+ customer base across Canada and world wide.
You Get Paid
Get paid within 14 business days: choose cash or store credit with a 5% bonus. For consignment, payments are processed the following month.
What Is Luxury Consignment?
Luxury consignment is traditionally the process of selling pre-owned designer goods through a trusted intermediary who authenticates, prices, and markets each item on behalf of the seller. However, at Retyche, we’ve redefined that model to prioritize speed, simplicity, and immediate payouts—because most of our clients prefer a direct buyout experience rather than waiting for an item to sell.
At Retyche, we primarily focus on offering competitive buyouts for pre-owned luxury items, allowing you to turn your designer pieces into cash quickly and effortlessly. For select high-value items, we also offer a consignment option for those who prefer to maximize their return. In these cases, consignors can receive up to 80% of the final sale price.

What brands do you accept for consignment?
We accept over 50 luxury brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Gucci, Dior, Prada, Saint Laurent, Fendi, Balenciaga, Burberry, Celine, Bottega Veneta, and more. Items must be authentic and in good condition. If you're unsure whether we accept your brand, submit a photo through our form or email consign@retyche.com and we'll let you know within 24 hours.
What is the consignment/selling commission rate?
Consignors receive competitive payouts based on item value, brand, and condition. Items priced $1–$3,500 are typically handled through direct buyout, with payment issued within 2–3 weeks. Items $3,500+ are eligible for consignment, with returns ranging from 65% to 70%, and up to 80% for exceptional pieces like Hermès quota bags and fine jewelry. No upfront fees — we only earn when your item sells.
How long does it take to sell a consigned item?
Most items sell within 30 to 90 days, though high-demand brands like Chanel, Hermès, and Louis Vuitton often sell much faster. We actively market every item through our website, email campaigns to 34,000+ customers, and social media channels. If an item hasn't sold after the consignment period, we'll discuss options including price adjustments or return.
Do you accept items that aren't in perfect condition?
Yes, we accept items in gently used condition. Minor signs of wear are expected with pre-owned luxury goods. During our evaluation, we assess each item's condition honestly and price it accordingly. Items with significant damage, missing hardware, or heavy staining may not be accepted. When in doubt, send us photos and we'll give you an honest assessment.
Can I consign from outside Montreal?
Absolutely! We accept consignments from Canada and the United States. Simply fill out our online form or email us photos of your items. Once we agree on pricing, we'll arrange insured shipping to our facility. You can also visit our showroom inside Rockland Mall in Montreal for an in-person evaluation. Payouts are sent via e-transfer regardless of your location.
