Retyche on Laurier: A Month-Long Pop-Up in Outremont

Retyche on Laurier: A Month-Long Pop-Up in Outremont

We're popping in on Laurier

For one month this summer, Retyche is opening the doors of a second boutique a pop-up on Avenue Laurier Ouest in Outremont.

1018 Avenue Laurier Ouest, Outremont, Québec H2V 2K8 August 14 – September 15, 2026

Rita and I have been thinking about this for a while. Retyche has spent ten years building at Centre Rockland, and we love it there. But we've heard the same thing from customers over and over: "I wish you were closer to me." Outremont, the Plateau, Mile End, downtown, the women who love Retyche live here too, and coming out to Rockland isn't always in the flow of their day.

So we're bringing Retyche to them.

Why Laurier

Laurier Ouest has been quietly building itself into one of the most considered shopping streets in Montreal. Claudette Floyd, Lyla, Leméac, Billie Boutique, Chez Lévesque, Rooms Studio, Boutique 1861, Iris et Berlingo, Café Souvenir, Rose Rouge, Deux Filles Deux Fleurs, the mix on this street is exactly the mix of taste we've been describing when we talk about the Retyche girl. She's fashion-literate, she reads, she buys once and buys well.

We think our clientele overlaps beautifully with what's already on Laurier. The pop-up is our way of testing that theory in real time.

What to expect at the boutique

The Laurier space will carry a curated edit of the Retyche world — not our full inventory. We're bringing:

  • Handbags from Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Loewe
  • Fine jewelry including select Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels pieces
  • Silks and accessories — Hermès Twillys and 90cm scarves, wallets, small leather goods
  • Select shoes — Louboutin, Manolo, Gianvito Rossi, and a rotation of house classics
  • A few "one-of-one" pieces the kind of thing you find in person and never forget

Every piece is authenticated in-house and verified through Entrupy, the same standard we hold to at Rockland. Only the doorstep changes.

Coming to sell? Come see us.

If you've been thinking about selling a piece, a Chanel flap that's been sitting, a Kelly you're ready to release, a watch that isn't in rotation anymore, the Laurier pop-up is a great chance to bring it in without driving to Rockland.

Bring the piece, we'll authenticate it in person, and we will make an offer that same day. Buyouts are paid within 2–3 business weeks by cheque or e-transfer. For exceptional pieces ($15,000+), we'll talk about the consignment path.

The bigger question we're asking

Yes, we're also using these five weeks to answer a question we've been sitting with for a while: could Laurier be the right home for a second Retyche location, long-term?

Ten years at Rockland has taught us that our best customers come to us as a destination. They plan the visit. They know what they want. They're not walking past looking for something to do.

We'll be paying attention over the five weeks. Who comes in. What they buy. What they sell. How the street feels. We'll share what we learn honestly, both on Instagram and in a follow-up here in September.

If you have a favourite Laurier moment, tell us. If you have a piece we should carry, bring it. If you have thoughts on whether this street should be our next home, we're listening.
